Where i have worked for the past 2 summers and 2 christmas breaks is closing the doors here in a week or so. Im on the hunt for a job to finish the summer out. I will be able to work till about mid August.
Where i have worked is a precast concrete plant i have done a little of everything there. My main role was to help out when an area was short handed. Which means i had to learn many different things and fast.
Im located in concord but willing to commute up to an hour depending on the work.

Anyleads will be highly appreciated if you want more details about my work history or expirence just pm me.

If you were closer, we could certainly use a good set of hands and any construction, welding, painting, framing, machine operating experience after that is a very promising slot.
Of course it's all the way in Columbia SC

My buddy has a moving company and occasionally needs help for local jobs. Not steady work but if you don't get something full time this may help you out.
Thanks ill keep that in mind

Thats the way im with alot of possible jobs. But the benifit isnt worth the cost and hassle of renting an apartment for two months and not being there the entire time.

Yeah, understandable. Once a person starts at Stuyck company, they won't want to leave too. You'd spend several days walking around in disbelief at what we have to offer. I've been here 9 months and I still can't believe what we're capable of. Beat of luck sir!

Thats one thing i enjoyed was seeing whole buildings being produced piece by piece especally the very architectural ones. It is amazing how we were able to produce entire building piece by piece and have reveals (lines or indentations) linning up perfectly all over the building. Looking at some of the shapes of pannels we had to make like half circles or ones with like crown molding that was a different color but then right below it being another color. Getting to see the completed building is amazing.

I just looked at the website stuyck it seems like it would be a very interesting place to work.

Is that Pre-Fab, on Sugar Creek Rd., Charlotte, still there? I haven't been by there in some time. It is or was right beside Concrete Supply, Raleigh St.
Only there for a few more weeks. That is where i currently work.

Might could check with Superior Walls in Salisbury? Not sure if that lines up with your skill set?

Or you could come up to my place and get worked like a rented mule for all the water you can drink and a ham sammich a day. @Keith Odom good luck finding something that fits what you’re looking for. I would venture to say you’re not scared of a hard days work which is hard to find employees like that these days.

Look into the City of Charlotte. They hire a ton of summer interns, paid summer interns. Its weird that they call them interns since not all of them are college students, a lot are high school students.
