I've been trying to decide on tires for awhile I can't decide. The kms that came on the jeep have done okay but i have torn lots a lugs off, cut a sidewall and plugged a tire or two. Just looking something that will hold up better. I know that a bias ply tsl is hard to beat, but I do drive this thing to raliegh or Wilmington once in a while. So if anybody has any recommendations for a good offroad tire I'm all ears. I'll be riding ure brown mountain and hopefully gulches and harlan this year.

Since your going to be driving on the highway a lot, toyo mt, nitto trailgrappler, cooper stt pro. Tough, wear good, balance well, and hook up on the trails. These tires balance very well and on you Jk that is very important.

I ran the toyos on a ram I had at uwharrie, they done well tough tire in rocks, but when it was greasy slick up there they didn't clean out very well. I've been thinking about trail grapplers, may just have to try a set.
