Looking to buy a tablet

I am on Verizon and am looking at tablets. The productivity is the main reason. I spend a lot of time in my truck or on job sites. I need to keep up with reciepts and invoices on every job. Right now I am using excel spreadsheet to do that. Does excel work on any of the tablets. I also need to download documents from the tablet to the server in the office. Job Notes, pictures, the ability for customers to sign documents on the tablet, email are all important items to me. I have no problem smacking a lippy subcontractor or crawling into a shit filled crawl space but technology is not my strong suit. Any and all advise is appreciated.

Android based will do it out of the box. An ipad will have to have a special program and will not give the ability to do adobe(all our meetings are adobe meetings so I am looking at getting rid of my Ipad).

I have the iPad and it works great and there are basically apps for everything.

Snappy when you say it won't do Adobe what do you mean. I know I can open Adobe files but I'm not familiar with the Adobe meeting. We use go to meeting at my company.

Adobe flashplayer, I cant paly face book games. Adobe meeting use flash player we use to use go to meeting.

I like my Motorola xoom. Using it now, but not sure about excel documents. Since its Google and Google docs I think it would.

On the android tablet look for "Quick Office" it should already be installed. That will take care of creating/reading your word/excel documents.

Apple = no flash player, this just on the Ipad for some reason? I have flash player on my Imac here at work with no problems.

Yea, apple doesn't have Flash on iPhones, iPads, or iPod Touches.

we had a pandigital i dont even know if you can still buy them but they are trash, they run android system but i guess the hardware cant keep up the software and ive heard nothing but bad things about the kindle fire dont really know whats good but i can tell you whats bad

I don't know if Verizon offers it, but my girl got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for Christmas...the thing is awesome!

I love it and its super fast a responsive...I know its a little expensive but Its super nice.
