My bro lost his dog on the way back from URE. Lost him somwhere around china grove on 152 i believe. Northwest of china grove. The dog is a cross between a rottweiler and an austrialin cattle dog or blue heeler. Answere to Mack. Skittish and shy dog. please tell anyone you know to keep a lookout for this dog. I'll apprieciate all the help i can get. Thanks.

I'll keep a look out, Rowan County Animal control is in this area big time. Early last week 2 dogs got out and killed some goats between Landis and China Grove so check with the shelter on Julian Rd.

Yea, they where goin about 55 when he jumped out. Flipped about 4 or 5 times end over end. And slid into a ditch then bolted off into the woods. And just recieved some good news. The dog has been found. Seems to be allright. So we will be taking him to the vet to get some x-rays. Hopefully nothing internal. Thanks for the help.

That is really great to hear, hope the pup is ok (and learned something).

Not bashing, but they do make doggy seat belts. I got one for around $20 at PetSmart. I never put my dog in the Jeep without it. She tried to jump out of my truck when she was a puppy. She saw a squirrel, and tried to jump over me to get out the window. Luckily I caught her and learned a lesson. Keep the windows up enough so she can't fit through, and I got a doggy belt. If you were to have an accident your dog will not have any restraint to keep them in the vehicle.

i will deffintly look into those seatbelts.

Years ago, I carried my dog in the back of the truck everywhere I went. On the way home from the vet from getting her spayed, we're coming up to my driveway and she decides to jump (she had never done that before) Well she hits my mailbox in midair and her guts spill out of the incision. I push them back in and haul ass back to the vet and they fix her back up with a LOT of tape around her mid section.
I let her ride in the front on the way back home:shaking:
Oh yeah, good to hear ya'll found the dog!

We saw a dog saturday afternoon as we were leaving uwharrie. It was white and brown with patches all over and real friendly healthy dog that had a red collar. It was in the small parking lot when you first turn right down the dirt road where the picknick tabes and bathroom is. We had parked a trailer there and he was there when we got there and nobody else was around. He was just kind of hanging out trying to help us load up the truck. :) We didnt see anyone around but I hope he found his owner. And for some reason every time a yellow vehicle drove by he took off after it. It was pretty funny, only yellow trucks.

Glad you found the dog, that's great news. One thing to remember is if you loose your dog around China Grove check with me first. All the strays end up at my house for some reason. LOL
