Lots of hot air under the dash?

On a newly aquired 98 tj. Not sure if the heat it stuck on or what. I don't see any holes through to the firewall. What do you guys think? Thanks

My heat blows even when its off, When driving down the road, i unhook the heater core under the hood during the summer. I only have heat, I removed the controls due to them going out years ago, i have a toggle switch for on and off and a multi switch for the fan control. That being said, I have all the controls removed and it still blows hot air if i don't bypass the heater core.

Could be a flap hung open in the heater duct allowing air to flow.
 
My cable was just stuck. Got it fixed. It was the cable under the glove box if anyone else had this problem.:beer:
 
yeah just turn the green lever under the glove box to the left and that will shut it off.
