Lots of interesting news today

I know this is an unpopular opinion but dense housing SAVES trees.
What's the alternative? those 1200 homes on 1200 acres?

Yeah what you really wants is all those homes to not be built at all.
But thats what causes the housing price inflation crisis.
Yes, 1200 homes on 1200 acres sounds good.

What I really want is all those people to not have a place to move to that is DRASTICALLY different than how the area used to be 10 years ago.

Currency manipulation and institutional investing and price manipulation are what cause the housing price inflation crisis.

That depends on how many trees they cut down to build the homes. It seems like with the hoods where they pack the houses in, they clear cut all the trees. My hood is full of 1 acre lots and a handful of 2-10 acre lots. The developer only cut down the trees necessary to build the roads and houses.

If we are talking about wildlife living in the woods, I regularly see deer, raccoons, and possums on my property. I've seen wild turkeys, coyotes, ground hogs, buzzards, etc

The other option is 100 homes on 250 acres each wooded but no forests. It looks better aesthetically but is much worse for wildlife.

I'll argue that here in the mountains the housing developments are what has caused the deer to come back and the bear population to grow so large. they offer safe haven from hunters and the home owners do a lot of "view cutting", which produce micro clear cuts. they clear alot of the unwanted trees leaving mass crop trees because they look nicer than the sweet guns and poplars. that said throw a coyote in the mix and you have the 3 most adaptable animals in the US.

Build up, not out.

Good plan.
You live in a high rise , right?

Otherwise NIMBY and DAISNAID
City folk are already used to being stacked on top of each other.

Sad end to somebody's day of fun...

Judging by the article and pics, he musta had a heart attack or something and the crash was just a consequence of that.

The only appropriate action is to be fined a fee that is a portion of danages.

Which would make it a negative amount, so he would receive payment
