Lots of interesting news today

Well, I'm a germaphobe anyway, so this is nothing new to me. I've also seen seats coming back for repair when I worked at a seat mfr. Airplanes are nasty. I aways think about the dude or woman with an ass crack all the way to their shoulders rubbing on the seat back.

same w/ city busses and metro trains.
But y'all turn your nose up at those anyway

Best part is bro could also be sued by the airline AND the other passengers for their cost incurred from the flight diversion

So, racist and bigoted language protected by the first amendment is grounds for false imprisonment and the assalt with battery that you know happened to that man to get him duct taped like that, not to mention that he is over restrained which is most likely to humiliate him. Just playing devils advocate, but what happens when someone deems a phrase like “Jesus loves you” as racist and bigoted

1 - first amendment only applies to the government. Private parties can have WTFever rules they want within their confines. Basically there is no 1A protection here.
2 - you'd have a really hard time w/ a false imprisonment case, its been established and held up in court that pilots have the right of constraint, and their crew are an extension of the pilot. That doesn't include solely verbal confrontations but absolutely does if there's any safety concerns, which is clear in this case.

Basically they can do WTFever they want if you are unruly and especially are harming another person. Don't like it? Don't step foot on an airplane unless its your own.
Or rather - you're on private property. You choose to be nicely behaved and follow the social norms or the owner will treat you like the asshole you are.

I have not heard any account of him being violent is the problem, just “racist and bigoted” language. So context matters a lot, but if he was physically violent I would assume that would be part of the reported story

Read the article, he was trying to strangle the person sitting next to him.

I mean if a guy on a plane starts screaming and acting crazy even if just screaming and cussing id expect the same treatment.
It just takes one person doing something stupid on a plane to turn it into a huge problem for everyone. What if in his fit he grabbed a door and opened it?
Would it cause a plane crash. Probably not. Would it cause an emergency and put alot of peoples life at risk? Yeah

The headlines just mention racist and bigoted language, I’m just saying they are misleading. Should have been man restrained after assaulting and yelling slurs

I agree with you here, but isn't the headline misleading all the time? That's why you have to click and read before you talk about the headline.

There are a lot of people getting arrested in the uk now for social media posts about the immigrant surge while said immigrants are walking for violent crimes. I’m just hoping that the pendulum swings in the other direction before Europe is too far gone

Reading the whole first paragraph is just too much to ask?
The main headline literally says he had a meltdown. How is that misleading?
