Got married young, raised two daughters in my redneck world.
My grown up kiddos jennbug (27) and leah pizza (24) have just dropped La Bamba....
We are going to the BOA 500 Saturday night. Killer seats between turn 4 and the finish line.
VIP parking and pit passes.
Just me, the wifey and our girls are going.
They both told their husbands to babysit dogs.
I love being Dad!

That is awesome! I have a 23 year old daughter and she'll go camping and wheeling with me.

Leave my wife and her boyfriend behind, lol. Just me and her. Love those times.

Enjoy!

I have a 15 year old and 4 year old. Both girls. I cherish every minute I can with them. My oldest is having baby mama drama (so glad I didn't marry that bitch). When things heated up, she wanted to be at my house where I could shield her from the BS.

Don't wish the time away. Every minute between now and then can't be redone.

Trust me I'm not! I'm blessed in the fact that I've been able to be a stay at home dad and get to spend as much time with him as I do. (Crack your jokes I've heard 'em all) We do a lot together already during the week and then family time on the weekends!

Awesome @Paul ! But wait, they have beer there right? Ohhh I can see it now, 11o'clock news. Rogue Redneck jumps in Juniors car and takes the checkered flag!

LOL
You all enjoy!

I'm kind of jealous. I can't stand my dad and I've always been a little bummed about that. I'm glad most of yall have good relationships with your kids! It's a wonderful thing! :)

Hated to drop a heavy bomb like that, but eventually you realize that you don't want to associate with people who aren't trying to better themselves and hide behind problems instead of facing them and fixing them. He's also an alcoholic and I got fed up with all the bullshit pretty quickly. It happens, but it's taught me a lot.

Nothin like being a dad. Our first is 16 months old and a daddy's girl. Feels like it was yesterday we brought here home and stayed for 3 days cuz she had a colic and I was the only one to get her to sleep. One time we put her to bed at 9p, she woke up at 11p, and cried while we took turns rocking her til 330a, I got in the shower for work and she was sound asleep. I could screamed but now I miss those sleepless nights. She sleeps from 730 to 7 everyday now!

Every frustration I've ever felt as a parent was just negated the other day when I was at my son's school. He was selected as the "Star Titan" for his class and this was posted outside the cafeteria. It about brought me to tears.

Maybe he just wants to be like me when he grows up because I have front teeth. :)
