I have a waggy dana 44 that I am trying to get the knuckles off. i got one side off no problem and got the other side loose enough that I could get the threaded collar around the upper ball joint off. So the upper ball joint is able to float around and hammering and pickle fork has not caused the lower ball joint to budge. i have soaked it with pb plaster and running out of ideas on getting it off. Any advice would be great.

Block of wood and a bigger hammer. Drive directly down on the knuckle with the housing supported up off the ground a little bit. Or flip it over, support it by the knuckle and drive straight down on the balljoint stud. No biggie if you bust it since it will be replaced anyway. Hopefully that will pop it loose.
