Ls drivetrain price

Its the "low side" of the oil pan that hits the stock cross member. If you move it front/back to clear the cross member you get into the differential.
There are some guys who notch the cross member...or you can raise the motor 3" and run a cowl hood.

But to date, without lift springs, a custom fabbed cross member or a cowl hood I havent seen anyone get it in a 4wd truck and no one has on the 67-72 forums.
Its why 4 companies make the custom cross member. And its cheap enough to not reinvent the wheel.

I plan on all stock and probably even gonna use the fuel tank if I can fit it in there. That will eliminate the cost of that part of it. I should have everything I need for the whole swap buying a truck. Just have to make sure it's in good shape.

This is also my plan for my wife's 84 c10. I want to find a wrecked Tahoe and use everything, fuel tank, radiator, hoses, everything.

Cleared off around it today. Shame, i put it in that spot almost 20 years ago. And the original cab hanging out by it's lonesome. It may get put back on since i cut the rockers and cab corners out of the orange one.
