Meh...I'm tired of researching and just need the parts ordered...

I need a flexplate for an LS1 to TH convertor (powerglide with a TH input shaft)...suggestions? They make any to eliminate the need for the crank spacer?

Also, torque convertor suggestions? Brands? Sizes? For a powerglide with 1.76 first gear (again, with TH input shaft)
I'm thinking around a 2800-3000 stall...?2900lb buggy race ready with STaK 3 speed (3.1 and 5.4 low range options)

if you are gonna do anything but race, reconsider the stall. been there...HEAT. call TCI, they have the parts you need and are very helpful

Why do you want to spend several hundred on a flexplate when the OEM will do? Just askin...

I would check the LS1 forums for guys who have to get the $$ ones when they're making big power.. you can probably score a flexplate for very little.

get to know somebody at your local GM dealership...you're gonna need a friend there anyway. i've found that in many case you can buy gm parts for the same or less than parts house prices. i bought my flex plate for right at $100

I found a new aftermarket flexplate on ebay for $60. Called Performance Torque Converters (ptcrace.com)256-383-6868 and order the converter. PTC makes 'em to order and he told me if it was not what I wanted to send it back, tell him what I wanted different and I only had to pay shipping. The converter is the adapter so you use stock flexplate without adapter.
