After a good cleaning etc, the throttle plates are still a bit sticky/squeaky. What is good to try and lube them up a bit? Would something like white lithium grease work?

use a dry film lube, anything oil base will attract dirt, which will cause binding and sticking again.

I use PB Blaster TDL ( The Dry Lube ) on lift chains in very dirty environments, if nothing else it keep the chains from squeaking for a few days ( glass dust will wear thru just about anything )

well I tried some WD40 (before seeing this) that seemed to help.
Hm I have some graphite from a pniewood derby car...

I use RemOil on almost everything. I haven't had a door hinge squeak in my house since I sprayed them once about 10 years ago. I use it on my truck doors, guns, tool box hinges...well, you get the idea.

Look for Dupont non-stick dry film lube
Its teflon based believe it or not, but it clings to joints, lubes like a boss and wont attraact dust/dirt or stain cloth either.

Ive "fixed" about a dozen seat belts in the last year with the stuff.
