Y’all gonna laugh and doubt this but brake cleaner works wonders on all kinds of stuff. Accidentally marked a shirt with a perm marker and sprayed it a few times and let it sit overnight before running thru the wash. Came out clean. Grease, oil, etc is great.

100%, but it also eats away at the fabric. I used it a handful of times on a pair of Carhartt pants to get out oil/grease, and it wasnt long before they were getting thin.

Good to know. Haven’t had that problem yet so maybe I’ll just use it for only the most egregious messes. ;-)

I've found electrical contact cleaner to be equally good at cleaning, and not as hard on the material.
