Just wanted to post my newly upgraded XJ! Andy and the guys at ECGS hooked me up!
It's my daily driver and I don't get to wheel that often so excuse the fact that it doesn't have super offroad tires. I went with the Clayton 6.5" LA kit and Bilsteins. I am super pleased with the result!

When I bought it in July this year...

and now!

There will be more pictures once I get it cleaned up and get the DSLR out! And the title is just a joke.

You can climb over at least 3 shopping carts with that!!

looks nice. I'd put some sliders on it to keep it that way.

You had read my mind. So I got in contact with Mark from DetoursUSA.com and ordered a set of his sliders. I bolted them up and then Chris at MarsFab put in the finishing welds.

I think they came out awesome!

how do ya like the rugged terrains

I haven't had a chance to try them out offroad yet, but on the street they handle well. Tons of grip in the wet.

They're a little stiff since they're E rated for my lightweight Cherokee and there is more noise than I expected. More noise than the BFG ATs I had before.

For a daily driver, I'd buy em again.

E Rated? They might last forever on that XJ with regular rotation lol

Damn that thing is clean though.

It blocks a fair bit, but between the side mirror and the rear cargo window being empty now, it's not too bad.

And as weird as it might seem, the triangle gaps in the wheel provide enough of a view to see if there's any large object near.

Excuse the cell phone photo and being backed up against the garage door, but at least it's something.

Looks good. I learned to drive (and raise hell in snow) in an 84 like this back in the day. At least I'm not the only one with street friendly tires.

since it's my only vehicle and it sees streets 90% of the time, i thought it would be worth it. Once I get the 2nd vehicle, they'll be coming off for something in a 15" wheels. Damn metric tires are ridiculously priced.
