Mall Crawling at its best

The dorkel should have given it away

Dumb.

I was listening to SR71- All Fall Down on my playlist when I clicked the video, as soon as he tips it is like... ALLL FALLL DOWNN.... Made it 10x more funny.

His Buddy doesn't seem all that concerned as he calmly walks over to his Motorcycle.I mean At Least Feign concern and go check on the guy.

so snorkels aren't cool now?

Building a functional snorkel out of PVC is looked down upon by some people. Rather have a cheap but functional dorkel then not have one and need it. Although most folks who look down upon it strictly avoid mud or any kind of deep crossing.

Just my 2 cents.

Thisreminds me of what my buddy did. He figured out he could pull one of the front wheels up and he did it alot, until he flipped his Bronco II in the school parking lot. Hopefully the dumbass learned what not to do.

For me,my problem is that your gonna get some other major component wet (like the ECM,ignition system) long before you get deep enuf to need a 3 foot snorkle.

I heare Carolina Truggies has a sell on snorkels now.....:flipoff2:

Why no Dorkle?
Well I have wheeled at Harlan during big rain. River behind campground rose about 3 feet. Every trail looked like a creek, but never had to cross water deep enough that warranted one,
I have wheel Mnt City when water was deep at every creek crossing and the water fall was gushing. No need for one there either.
Long story short. I have wheeled all over, and no where that is open to ride had water deep enough to need one.
We did have flash flooding once here in Burke County where I was out sight seeing the damage, and I went across Antioch road near Hwy 18. You could see parts of 6 cars/trucks sticking out of the water. Water got up to my seat inside my Jeep, but no issues. (note: not a smart move at the time)
I have just never saw a need for one, ever, anywhere I have wheeled.

Yeah but you forget chip, your Jeep is 10 feet high.....we need a snokel smiley......

I got a snorkel on the CJ...not for water...it's the best way to beat the Uwharrie dust. Gets the intake air up to clean air...don't have to change air filter near as often now.

Used to do some river riding in Tennessee, some on here have been there with me. Driving up stream and found a deep hole and the water was really deep! After we got out we raised the hood to check things out. I was running a 6inch tall X 14 diameter KN air filter and the water line was 4inches up on it! I never gave it any throttle the whole time! SAS and 37 boggers with the steering wheel in the water. Robbie Mozely couldn't beleive it and chose not to follow! He said a JEEP couldn't swim like a Toyota. True Story!
