Manual Steering

I need to check the fluid / grease in my CJ5 manual steering box. Looks like theres bolt on top of the steering box with a screw in the middle of it, I am guessing this is where to check / add. Am I thinking correctly? I seen somewhere it take lithium body grease, is the also correct?

I think you're all wrong, but I don't fully know/understand the correct answers. I thought that screw on top adjusts the tension on the worm gear. I've heard people say to tighten it down to eliminate slop, others say be very careful not to go to tight, or something real bad will happen, adn that scared me enough not to mess with it.
In all the years I had a manual steering box, I never added 'fluid'. I replaced it maybe 3 times.

I messed with the screw and yes it seams to be an adjustment screw of sorts. Well not the first time I thought wrong, I'm sure not the last lol. So I take it there is no grease / oil in there? or atleast no way to add to it?

there is nothing to be added to a manual steering box.
nothing good ever comes from adjusting the worm gear in the box.

I'm hoping i ended up not adjusting it. I put it back to the same place it was when I started. Thanks for the info
