I was wondering if anyone was wanting to do anything this coming weeend? I have Friday off and wanted to try my new Rig out....

I guess I didnt read good....Is there any other place to wheel around Hickory are this weekend?
 
I have no idea personally, but have you checked to see if brown mountain is open yet? i THINK it opens around the same time as uwharrie, but i am not sure.

If so, this would be a lot closer for you.
 
Yea I was looking todo some camping this weekend Saturday night.....I would whell Saturday after lunch and Sunday morning. I have a 90 4runner chopped, sas, 38.5 locked front and rear, full exo cage
 
Calleante (SP) in Tennessee might suit you...2 hours ish (hour and a half maybe if your hauling ass) to it, Mountain City Tennessee.

Theres richlands road, halfway between Lenior and blowing rock, but its not too difficult..
 
Would you been interested Friday or Sat with Richlands? I know it sucks, but I have a new rig and wanna check her out...Let me know what you think.
 
is richlands rd. still open? is there anything thru there? last time I was up there was in 02. I heard they took a dozer thru and cleaned it all up and haven't been back.
 
yes it is still there....Some hill climbs and little rock to play on here and there...I just like to explore on old trails and see how far I can make it on 4wheeler trails....lol
 
I just rode through there for the first time last weekend. Not a bad ride but nothing really challenging. I ran into 3 old land rovers and rode around w/them. I will say it was probably more fun than brown for a jeep.
