I'm not trying to start any bad rumors. Has anybody heard word of Marlin Crawler going out of business? I’m getting their 5” Trail Flex lift installed and the shop doing it said I ordered just in time because they are going out of business. They are supposedly selling whatever products they have in stock and closing up. My lift came without the leaf springs and Marlin is having a set made separate to fill my order. I checked their website and they no longer have their lifts on the site, they don’t even have leaf springs there anymore. Maybe they are just down sizing. If true I guess these really are some hard times.

OK, thought it might have been. I don't hit the forums often. I just bought a bunch of his stuff so it was the first I heard of it. Thanks.

i just ordered a t case flange the other week and i call two weeks after it hadnt showed at the door and they lost my order... so i reordered it got it yesterday so idk

I can't find any menton or discussion of this on their web forum, and they are releasing new stuff left and right...

Just called and placed an order with marlin crawler. When I asked At-ah-berry (Sales person name) if they where going under, He laughed and said they where NO ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE to going under, and where doing VERY well.

:burnout::wheel:

Looks like they are not doing lifts/leaf springs anymore. I also just ordered from them (non-lift related items) and hope they stay in business for a very long time.

I'm talking about complete systems. I ordered the 5" Trail Flex lift. Mine came without the leaf springs. Now according to the shop that has my truck, Marlin Crawler told them that they are no longer doing lifts and that they are having springs made for my truck and will ship it to complete my order. I have been waiting for about two weeks now. I have checked their website and they no longer show or list complete lifts and I do not believe leaf springs either. I'm sure they will sell individual components relating to lifts and that is cool. I hope they do continue doing lifts if for no other reason than more quality competition which equals lower prices. Anyways the guys in shop mentioned that maybe they are going out of business and I figured if anyone knew thay would be on this site. I'm kind of sorry I even posted anything about it.

need to know

Ok just letting people know ...my husband was the only Fabricator for MC"s bumpers and sliders, extra until this past year. They let him go because an employee (can't say his name) had a personal argument with my husband. That steel shortage they mention is cr•p, we push out bumpers and stuff every other day! That's them covering there behinds. My husband is the one who designed the bumpers and even now put out a new design. Then they try to sue us for the jigs that my husband built. Picking on the small guy who helped put them on the market. Marlin himself was long good friends with my husband and has not been aware of the wrong doing his employee had done. Now i can say ya where a little burt about them but we are not letting this slow us down. I just wanted to get the word out and let people know what kind of company there actually dealing with. I am sure there are something true followers of MC"s products but did you ever know where they actually come from? Us small guys who bust are butts putting food on the table for our family's. I didn't and don't want to piss anyone off just letting you know more.

if you husband worked for MC or was paid to design and build the jigs, then they are in the right to sue. Thats their intellectual property (design), regardless if your husband designed it. If he built the jigs and was paid by MC to do so, they are the property of MC as well...

He wasn't paid to design the jigs and they liked his bumpers never bought rights to them. They only paid for the finished products then turned around and sold them. As a kind gesture we gave them the old model jigs as we don't need them anymore. Are new designs are different and the jigs are useless to us.

Something sounds fishy with the wifeswelder story! If this guy was truly the great bumper fabricator she claims and was making so much money for the company I find it hard to believe they would fire him over a simple coworker squabble.

Call him and find out ...like I said its crap and everyone thought this is outrageous and how can Marlin be so blind to what's going on. 559-250-3520
