The shop is busier than ever and the time has come to hire some help.

I love to work. I love what I do and I need someone who shares the same drive as me.

I need you to live reasonably close to the shop.

You will need reliable transportation.

You'll need to know your way around a grinder, air tools, hand tools, broom and have a general understanding of suspension and axles. I'm looking for someone who can be a set of hands. Holding stuff, cleaning parts handing me tools, following my moves and being ready for whatever comes next to keep things moving.

Initially this position will be 2-3 days a week to see how it goes. If you work elsewhere I can be flexible on those days and hours. My normal hours are Monday-Friday 8:30ish - 6:00ish.

I DO NOT WANT

-Someone who thinks they already know everything.

-An employee who expects to work on their own junk if things are slow.

-To teach all day. I need work to get done. I am not looking for someone who expects me to teach them to fabricate. If you learn a few things great.

-you on your phone or texting all day. A call here and there is fine.

I told you last year I would be all about it......now if i lived w my brother in Concord and not over an hour away lol
 
bump for a stand-up guy...wish I knew more about fabricating, I'd just stand there in awe!
 
If June isn't too late my son loves to grind drill work etc but he's only16 and in school. But he will have his license soon and could work 3-6pm

Do you celebrate Lee Jackson Day? I know its a Virginia holiday but I have some distant family that is from VA so I try to honor them and celebrate with them.. ?? :D



Seriously though, thats a tall order for a worker believe it or not. The govt has taken all of the drive and "want" of working from most people. Nobody wants to actually work anymore...
 
Thanks for all the offers guys, If I haven't responded to you I will. I'm weighing all my options. Keep the offers coming. I really need someone to start by the end of this week or at least next week.

There will be an hour lunch, you'll be paid every friday, but I really need someone to work full days.
