Max patch folks

Me and my wife had a conversation yesterday about litter in general and in off road parks. I can’t wrap my head around how people think it’s okay to trash our environment. We take many family trips and our kids know that we don’t leave trash, and we pick up others when we find it.

My whole wheeling crew thinks like this as well. It is not cool to throw out or leave trash anywhere. I guess we are dealing with an entire generation or two now that never had anyone instill into them those values.

Kids can be stupid, but they can also show you a lot of things you have never thought they could do and achieve.
Anyways, I blame the parents, they learned it from them probably.

Absolutely. My daughter (7) will go "Daddy, somebody threw out that wrapper!" and can't comprehend why somebody would do it...
 
I was with a few CTB members, probably 2 years ago. We rode Hurricane Creek, & came out to Max Patch. Both sides of the road had folks parked along it. As we were leaving, a Wedding party showed up. I thought "What an Odd place for a wedding"! Maybe a month later, it was in the News, so kids [I guess] had torn the place up pretty good, with their 4 wheel drives. Don't know if they got caught, but there has been a lot of complaints, the last couple years.
