A friend of mine told me that he seen a post on facebook where a group of boys were gonna be riding dirt bikes, four wheelers and side by sides at Max Patch this weekend,he said he didnt know if it would be Saturday or Sunday,i thought id post the info in case anyone was gonna be in the area and might wanna ride up and take a look. Im gonna try and ride up that way Sunday just to make sure if anyone is up there they dont destroy it again. If anyone can get in touch with a ranger in that area it might not be a bad idea to let them know.

Wheelers need to remember that all vehicles on numbered roads must be tagged and legal. Any thing that is not on the road or trail constitutes "illegal activity" By the district FS ranger Tina Tilley. Unless you are in a designated atv park. The FS has just spent the last two months flattening the hurricane trail and eliminating the threat to private land owners also. ALL ILLEGAL PLAY AREAS have been eliminated and very large track hoe pits on any thing that is not the main trail. Please respect the already hot tinder in the area or they will have to take action.
