Max Tire width for a (8") hummer two-piece wheel?

I'm thinking about switching to a different wheel on my buggy. Will my 42x14x16.5 iroks be to wide for the 8" wide hummer wheel? I'm sure someone is doing/has done this. Thanks!
 
stock hummer wheels are closer to 9" wide, but that's off-topic. Many run that same tire size on a 15/16/17" 8" beadlocked wheel without issue. For the hummer wheel specifically, I have put/seen the 19.5" wide 44" TSLs on stock wheels as well as 49/21" Irok on a stock wheel. Both of those ballooned like crazy, but I think you will be fine. You might need to trim your insert down some width wise, because of the bead thickness, but that all depends on the tire.
 
I'm running 39.5x13.50s on my H1s with no problems. I'm also using PVC internal beadlocks.

That sounds heavy. My H1's with rubber runflats and 38" SXs were 165lbs EACH!

same setup.. actually think they are 42x14.5-16.5 sx2s

no issues and work great. using pvc inserts. usually run them about 3-4 psi
