The 4x4 Community around North Carolina is massive, but even our local community here in the Triad is pretty big and its a shame we don't all get together more often, regardless of your club affiliation, it would be great to know more folks with similar passions in the area.
So come out, bring your family, your friends, anyone you know who is into 4 Wheel Drives, whether they wheel a Jeep, a Toyota, A Chevy, A Ford, and if you really want to bring the Land Rover guys we won't turn them away either.

Stokeridge is a great place, plenty of parking for however many wanted to show up, good food, good drink specials, and a decent beer selection.
I don't have any specifics yet but I know there will be drink specials and should be live music in the evening. I am talking with the owner about some drink specials for the evening and will post once I know the specials and the band for the evening.

Date: May 17th
Location: StokeRidge Tavern
Address: 7607-H Highway 68 North, Oakridge NC 27310
Time: 6 PM - 2 AM.

The original link to the FB event was no good but I fixed it now.

Looks like it will be a pretty big turn out, I talked to the owner of Stokeridge tonight and he suggested getting some cars to run over, but has to run it past the land lord and will get back to me.
Would have been cool if I suggested the car crush, but for Kevin to suggest it being completely unfamiliar with 4 wheel drive. Very cool.

This is walking distance from my house. A little too far out to know for sure, but I might try and make it.

Good deal Danny.

Our group has been going nearly every wednesday at 8 for the last year or so, which has allowed me to build a pretty good relationship with the owner and the staff. Even Kevin Combs, which really doesn't hurt as you probably know since you live nearby.

This is just one week away, spread the word if you are in the area I would love to meet ya.

I'm not going to make it. I forgot I was going out of town. I thought my vacation was the following week. Maybe I'll make the next one.

Between the Facebook Event, the forums, and the people I have personally invited this event is going to be pretty big.
I am absolutely looking forward to Saturday.

I know they will have plenty of cornhole boards set up for everyone to play if walking around isn't your thing.
Bud Light Buckets are going to be on special for certain, will know other specials the day of!
Food Specials will be pretty cool, I know he is getting in Gator and Oysters, though I do not know what kind of entree's they will put together.

Here is something I posted on Facebook, I posted the last 2 Gator/Oyster Entree's they had entice ya!

Alright Everyone!

We need someone taking pictures, I am terrible at photography and don't even own a camera, so anyone who would want to take pictures and be willing to send them to me or post on facebook it would be appreciated very much!!

This event is tomorrow at 6 pm, at StokeRidge Tavern.
Between the people I have spoken to and those others have spoken to, and the facebook event here we are really expecting a big turn out and I need to go over a few things with everyone, that should be common sense but you know I gotta say it anyway.

NO BURN OUTS
NO CURB HOPPING
NO SLIDING
NO ALCOHOL IN THE PARKING LOT

Thanks for reading and I look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow evening!

Just a few hours away! I am beyond stoked to hang out with everyone and meet some new faces.

If you are in the area and sitting around with nothing to do tonight, definitely worth a trip out.

Gives a pretty good idea of how things went. One of the coolest and completely unplanned tire stacks I have ever seen, one rig started it and next thing you know everyone is doing it.

Had a great turn out, thanks to everyone who came!
