Classic City Off Road presents Race 2 for 2013!!!
This race has traditionally been a favorite course for many of the racers. It offers fast sections as well as jumps, whoops, and technical rock sections. The park owners are very accomodating and have developed the facility to suit the needs of a race course for all classes! The owners are always changing the course and adding different rock sections,jumps, etc.
100% of all rocks and technical areas are man-made as this was a former 18-hole golf course years ago. We have scheduled this venue early in the season to steer away from the heat of the deep south as much as possible. In addition, it is scheduled during class time for Auburn University, positioning the event where there is a great number of spectators that will come out and cheer on all of the racers!
Course is about 4.5 miles long and is similar to the course from the past. But, the owners constantly change the property so the course, although similar, is completely different this year! We have incorporated a bridge in the course this year allowing the course to cross over itself for more options for the racers and spectators. Jumps have been adjusted to suit the needs of our racers and work better with full size 4×4 race vehicles. We fully expect this course to be one of the favorites of the year!
Schedule:
Friday, May3
- Racer check in starts at 9am on site
- Tech Inspection opens at 9am, closes at 4pm
- Pre running for all classes, 10am until 4pm and after qualifying until 10pm
- Qualifying from 4pm until 6pm
Saturday, May 4
- Meet the drivers, 10am until 11am
- UTV, Stock Class, Modified Stock Class race staging at 11am, starts at 11:30am, ends at 2:30pm
- Modified and Unlimited class staging at 3pm, race starts at 3:30pm, ends at 6:30pm
- Awards ceremony at 7:30pm
We will be on site on Thursday and access to the facility will be open to race teams Thursday afternoon. Tech inspections on Thursday are by appointment only. Tech Inspections on Saturday are by appointment only.
Admission for spectators is $10/day. Kids 8 and under are free! 2-Day discounted pass for $15. Each entry gets only the Primary Driver in the gate for free. All other team members, family, friends, etc. must pay the spectator fee as well as any camping fees upon check in.
Camping is available for spectators and racers. Camping is $5 per person per night. No RV hookups. Camping for the racer is free but all others should expect to pay for camping as camping is regulated and managed by the park.
***EVERYONE is required to sign the park waiver. This includes racers, team members, spectators, friends, family, etc. Racers will need to sign the ECORS waiver as well. Racers will only be handed check in info once they have wristbands from the park showing they have fulfilled this requirement, so if you get on site early, be sure you get your paperwork from the park so you can check in to race!

UTV: $75
Stock Class: $65
Modified Stock: $150
Modified Class: $175
Unlimited Class: $200
*Non members are $10 extra.
For the first 2 weeks after registration opens, race entry fees will remain constant. After 2 weeks, entry fees will raise by 10% each week until the race. Race registration on site will incur a $20 late registration fee in addition to posted entry fees. Payouts will be determined by the payout table on the ECORS website. Stock/AA class is a TROPHY class only! There will be no prize $. Trophies and sponsor prizes will still be awarded to the top finishers.
