I keep seeing these GM/Chevrolet ads on TV where they say "May the best car win". Didn't the best cars already win? It looked that way to me. The best cars and car makers did not have to take multiple bailouts/handouts. The best cars took a big hit just like GM but they did not crumble and almost fold like GM.

Ford just posted a $1BB profit for Q3...

GM has a pulse but no plan to repay bailout loan.
Chrysler was bought out by FIAT and largely is being disbanded....Id say the best American car company has won.

Those commercials have been getting at me for awhile, the best cars already won! If GM sinks again they'll just get another bailout, it's all BS.

And the UAW will NOT make the same concessions to Ford as it did the GM and Chrysler. It really is about using groups/people to control all aspects of personal and business activities.

I was a GM guy, now I'm a pre '91 (straight axle) GM guy.

Got an '04 Tahoe with that pushbutton 4wd crap - nothing but problems. Shifter in the floor like my old '91 full size Blazer was to simple, didn't generate enough problems for the service departments.
