Mayor Scott Dudley

The councilman that dismissed himself and left the meeting in fear, seems to me to be too mentally unstable to bear a firearm. The Mayor and the weapon bearing citizen both conducted themselves in a professional manner.
 
I carry everywhere Im allowed to and yesterday I was at the post office and finaly saw a sign sayin guns were prohibited.It was a piece paper,taped to the wall about 10 feet behind the teller and 6/7 feet up the wall.You had to be payin attention to see it.
 
I believe there's laws about signs, right? I don't know about Tennessee but I was thinking in either NC/SC they had to be certain size and be at a certain place and state a certain thing otherwise it did not apply.

Not sure about size, but they have to be posted at the entrance. There is a store in Burlington that did the same thing, they had it posted inside at the register.

I think that's meant for the employees..... :) They don't call it "Goin Postal" for nothin....

yeah my CCW instructor said it had to be posted at the door and the gun w a slash thru it didnt cut it either.He said they were required to post the ordinace/code/whatever # before it was valid.This was a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper w black print.Back before christmas I bought a new dbl shotgun from dicksand they told me I wasnt allowed to walk back thru the mall w a disassembled/boxed shotgun.The funny part was I had walked the way thru the mall and shopped w a loaded 380 in my pocket.The manager walked my to the sidewalk w the shotgun and I walked back into the mall thru the sears entrance next door.
