Triad 4 Wheel Drive Association will be kicking off our monthly M/G/Eats in April.
We hold these the first Friday night of every month at the Sonic Drive in, just off north Main Street in High Point. [It is behind the IHOP, next door to the Home Depot.]
This is open to ALL folks who want to come by and hang out, eat stuff that is perhaps less than healthy, check out each others rigs, winter improvements and tell tall tales about going over 'Kodak' with a stock rig on 29s, etc. (Which I totally did, but then again it was like 8" high at the time, pre-rut...heh)
Triad 4 Wheel Drive Association is a FAMILY focused group of off-roaders and web wheelers with an emphasis on trail rigs that are closer to stock, and we mostly enjoying riding the trails, and hanging out.
We usually end up with a pretty good amount of kids, spouses, etc showing up too, and they get to talk about living with a "Jeeper?!!"
It costs "nothing" to join T4WDA (member, heh...dead horse, inside joke) and despite our occasional flare ups online, we still are all fellow 4x4ers who would rather do this than get a stick in the eye at least!
I lead a "stockers" run every year the Friday after Thanksgiving where we hit the "easiest" rated trails in Uwharrie, etc. This will be the SIXTH annual run this fall!
So come on out and join us!!
