is there not any left? :shaking: I have made several deals with sellers on the net that the seller didn't follow thru with what he agreed on. it looks like I got another 1 today.

right now the deal has not fell thru yet, but I haven't heard back from the seller. I will post details after it grenades
 
Considering the large amount of business that is done via this forum, it would be nice if we could have some type of trader rating system that would let people know the background of the person their dealing with. We do that on fullsizebronco.com, and it eliminates a lot of issues before they even start.

Wait... So the deal isn't dead, but you're already trying to call the guy out..because you KNOW people on this forum will want to know who this supposed bad seller is.

Sounds to me like you found a good deal, and are now trying to bully an apprehensive seller into selling it to you, by preemptively challenging his character in a public forum?

How about you shut the fuck up. You are a piece of shit. The "deal" he is talking about is with one of my room mates over his YJ. The assfuck OP called him and lowballed him for his jeep and said he wanted it delivered across the state. My roomate declined the deal. The OP then said that he would come pick up and offered the same price. My roomate considered the deal but never said OK, jeep sold.... Now the OP wants him to sell him the jeep because somewhere along the line he figured the jeep was his for some reason.

Fuck off you shit brick. The jeep isnt yours until money is in hand. Piss off. You are a piece of shit.
 
I have no problem coming out and saying that I am sure that I am the seller who he is referring to. One thing that might need to be clarified is what one considers an offer and an acceptance of that offer. You offered me an amount along with some terms and I rejected. That is part of business. You then made another offer and I apologize for not spending 24/7 on the board to get back to you. I was still considering the offer and had not come to a decision but rest assure, this post alone has made my mind for me. Thank you very much for your interest but no thank you. I am going to persue other options. Best of luck to you and your travels to In.

Jeep or anything else this is a hard lesson to learn for some....Money talks, pay up and take your item home, otherwise it's for sale. I hate the expression "he sold it out from under me"....pay them and they won't.

Let me fill you in on some facts you may not be aware of about this "kid" you are dealing with. For the last month he has been bouncing around to different peoples' houses helping them work on their junk to get ready for a trip to Harlan we took a week ago. He also brought his own tools and consumeables to DONATE to others to use to get their junk ready. He gave selflessly of himself to others and neglected his own rig. Then he rode bitch all weekend and snapped over 500 pictures of everyone else. He also celebrated a birthday while up there. And this isn't just a one time event. I have had him shuttle parts to me from Raleigh just because he was happy to do it. In the few years I have known southern4x4 he has alway lent a helping hand and gone out of his way to help others.

So I say to you cockgobblin, STFU and go play your fucking game somewhere else you immoral piece of lying shit.

I see nothing wrong here.. other than, clearly there was some miscommunication.

There is always 3 sides to every story...

That said, the seller has every right to accept or reject ANY offer they want. People WRONGLY assume someone HAS to sell you something even if you OFFERING to pay the asking price.

Personally, I don't like this 'DIBS' crap. If you call DIBs on my shit I don't really care. Calling dibs is not anything. The seller needs to accept YOUR offer even if its the full asking price.

When I see something I want I get my ass in gear and go get it. I may ASK to the seller to hold it and state when I can get there by, but thats up to them. If I can't get there I fully expect to loose out.

I think this is getting out of control. but this topic really wasn't about the guy on here. I actually was venting about a deal at work.
since everyone thinks they need to bash me I will clarify my take on the deal with southern's jeep. he told me the price he would take and I said ok and then we were talking about different options for the delivery. he is the 1 that brought delivery up. yes, I would have liked delivery in with the deal but I thought it was clear that wasn't an issue. yes I did take it as we had made a deal on the jeep after we talked.
