I'm about to replace all the bellows and maybe gimbal in my searay (Alpha Gen II stern drive)

Wondering if anyone has the following specialty tools that I can borrow so I don't have to purchase them. I'll give collateral and a case of beer or whatever is needed...I know how lending tools goes sometimes. ha.

Hinge pin tool
Bellow expander
Gimbal alignment tool
Shift cable tool/socket

Thanks,

I don't have anything for ya, but used to work on boats. Have fun! BTW, you can use a REALLY deep 9/16" (IIRC) socket to remove/install the shift cable. When removing the old one, I would cut the excess plastic off of it to make it easier to remove. I think we used to charge around $600 for that job, but that is about 15 years ago...

Makes ya want an inboard, doesn't it...

Oh, and while you are at it, I'd do a water pump if you haven't done it recently.

Somebody will chime in with what you need, there are ways around some stuff, might have to fab your own tools. We rebuilt an OMC drive at work a few years ago (we are NOT a boat shop) broke a few screwdrivers, ground a few sockets to fit and modified some long reach pliers but got it done.
