Merrimon Rd Change Thoughts?

For those of you in the Aville area and who've frequented merrimon ave. What are your thoughts the recent road changes north merrimon?

(It went from 4 lane to 2.5->3->2->2.75 lanes
 
Too liberal over there for me. Been years since I drove down Merrimon.
we don’t even go to downtown without a fight. And then we regret it every time.
 
My favorite thing is sitting in traffic on a two lane road that is wide enough for four lanes and staring at the empty bike lanes. That might be a toss up though with installing 1000 speed humps on the single cut through to punish drivers from using the road that they paid for because no new roads have been added since the sixties. ❤️Asheville
