First off, I need a piece of 1/8" thick steel bent. 56" long (or longer), 4"x4" angle. Simple enough, so if anyone can make this for me and you live in Winston-Salem or Greensboro let me know.

My other question, I install/service sterilizers in hospitals/labs and such, every once in awhile we need a metal break/shear to fab some panels for the machines. Does anyone in W-S/Greensboro have a shop that I could get access to the equipment? I have used a shear/break plenty at a previous job, just don't know anyone with one right off hand. They would need to be heavy enough to bend/shear 18 gauge stainless steel.

Thanks

Salem Welding in the Kevlar district (Waughtown & Old Lexington) has all the goodness. Lindsay ain't gonna let you "use it", but ain't into the raping Fischel is either...

Call up the shop guys at FTCC, ask if they'll do it in exchange for a donation to the Welding program....
they have all kinds of equipment, including a couple of nice shears.

Hell, worst case, just spend $63 and sign up for the con-ed ARC course, that gets you access to all the stuff for 8 weeks... I got all kinds of stuff cut, sheared, welded, ground, etc while I was in it.

nice, never heard that one but it fits

When I lived "over there" (Waughtown at Mansfield) about 13 years ago, it was a daily occurrence to hear gunfire & "heated" arguments in the streets. Weekly there was someone in my neighborhood (predominately retirees) reporting a B&E, armed robbery, or just being assaulted for no obvious reason. Fortunately, I was only renting (actually house sitting for a friend) and had no problems after a year saying adios to that mess... swore I won't even go back to visit with a firearm & Kevlar.

"And he never did!" :D

Fischel is a cousin of a friend of a uncle or something to my boss. we had some work done by them once...did a good job but were definatly high$$$.

haha. thats funny.

Friend from burke county called yesterday said he was going to look at buying a car on waughtown and thomasville. he is a cop, i told him to bring the service pistol and asked if receiving stolen property would get him fired.
