Just curious to see if anyone has checked on the prices of scrap in the triad lately? Mainly pull a part, 109, and omni source, but others also. I was just sitting here thinking about carrying some stuff and a car but didnt know if anyone knows what scrap is up to now, maybe post up so anyone interested will know. If nobody posts ill try to call if i get time in the next few days and check and post.

I know this is a good ways from you, but it might give you something to compare to. Might help someone from around this area too. Prices are about a month old and Wise recycling is "normally" one of the better priced yards around here.

Thanks for posting that. I wish the scrap places around here would put out a sheet like that instead of having to call. Cant even look it up on the interweb but my searching skills suck so it may be right in front of me.

They don't post it on the web because the prices change every week. There is one around here that has a recording you can call and listen to the prices. Wise, you can email them and they will send you the price sheet for the week.

Pull-A-Part Winston-Salem is now paying $12.00/100 lbs or $240.00 per ton
