Thinking about some XZL's for my fullsize heavy wheeler. These tires any good out at Uwharrie? I think they are about 38" tall right? a bit on the skinny side I suppose, but they would be going on my Dodge Ramcharger which is rather wide anyway. What's the ball park going price for a set of these?

Thanks
Dave

11.00R16 are good tires. The XZL is much better than the XL. They measure 38" and work well on 6" wide rims. Whne I had some I sold them for $200 each

They were coming out of DRMO at about $100 each...that's what I got mine for. Check govliquidation.com to see if there are any coming out now. I've seen them used/new for anywhere from 120 to 300 from re-sellers.

I run the XZL's on my M715. No complaints at all, either at UNF or on the road (limited).

These are really stiff sidewalls, do much better on a heavier truck than something lighter.

I have these on my 97 Landcruiser.

I absolutely love them.

I've put about 15-20k on them with no sign of wear.

I have towed, wheeled, and DD'd with them and they have done everything I have asked them to.

Edit: And they hooked up enough at Uwharrie to snap a Full floater rear shaft on Kodak.

looks like I can get a set of the XL variety, are there significant performance differences btw the XL and XZL?? This is my trail rig although I do drive it around town sometimes just for fun and would like to keep it somewhat capable of doing 60mph. I'm running TSL's now and they do pretty good, just looking for a tire that last longer. Thanks for the insight

Dave

If you can get more then I might be interested in some as well. My ltbs suck on the road.
