mid 80s model 4x4 nissan/datsun

friend of mine has a mid 80s 4x4 nissan/datsun with the carbed 4 cylinder motor not real sure which motor it is but it has the 8 spark plug set up (2 plugs per cylinder) it has fire to both coils but wont fire has brand new coils and brand new distributer. if anyone knows anything about these trucks let me know. thanks

That'd be the NAP Z 2.4L... can't help you with the igniton
