How do the handhelds work on the trail? Anybody running them that way? I’ve got more use for handhelds than a fixed radio.

Range wise, I'd say comparable to a CB.

Ease of use wise, way better than any CB.

I recently bought a set but have yet to use them.

Hand helds I tried didn't have enough audio volume to hear good.

They worked fine in my CJ with HEI, but in the 715 with HEI and an MSD box could not receive anything but buzzzzzzzz.
