Misleading news, again...

The plot thickens....or his character thins....

Dodson, the Dem running for sheriff in Lee County, got fired last week from the Siler City PD, for forging officer's signatures on annual evaluations and daily reports. And, like his AWOL, he doesn't see it being a big deal.

This was my first thought. I dont see how he got hired as a LEO with "other than honorable". You can still buy a gun, but cant get a CHP. I would think getting a badge would be harder...

My dad was an "other than honorable" discharge. Sucker punched an officer and jumped off a docked ship. Hes an idiot and not a lot has changed. I had to get a NICS pin # because we share a name and I kept getting delayed. I would have thought that theyd run a stricter background check on a cop than they do to buy a gun or get a carry permit.

I dont care what hes done in the last 35 years, nothing he does will negate the fact that hes a deserter.
