All I see on the internet is "dont mix radial and bias tires on the same axle." Has anyone done it? How bad did it handle? I have a radial swamper and three bias swampers that I want to run together on an xj that drives to the trail and that's about it for street use. I sometimes drive on the street with grooved and somewhat underinflated tires.. But would mixing bias and radial tires on the same axle be taking my cheapness too far?

You'll be fine for this limited kind of driving.
Part of the problem is the different weights and, as they warm up/flex while driving, may have slightly different diameters and handle differently.
