So everyone knows what I'm thinking. Put the 4.0 in the yota with the auto and adapter to run dual yota cases. Has anyone ever measured to see how much has to be cut or moved to fit a 4.0 in a toyota.

I'm open to comments and or suggestions.

Just know that idc about much and this is something I wanna do just cause.

So game on lets here it

The aw4 shares many parts with one of the yota auto.... If you want manual, the ax15 shares some with the R-series trans.

I would do yota to d300 if I were to do yota cases at all. They really aren't setup to handle that much power, but you can make them last with light foot and 23spline chromo parts.

The 4.0 is long, so will likely need to run rear rad or stretch the front/ cut out the firewall.

Yeah I figured that the radiator would end up getting moved. What does anyone know about adapting the 42re to a yota case or maybe np241. Yeah i was also thinking the same thing about the 4.0 being a little to much for dual cases. Maybe just a single case would be fine truck will be on 38-39s and probably atleast 488 gears

Semi float 14 6 lug and dana 44 front. I plan on 39 inch iroks. I got aluminum wheels also. 5.13 aren't outa the question. Just wanna make sure I can still drive it around town also

Yeah I was reading that. Guess I'll look at other trans options. I still wanna do the 4.0. I'm looking to do something different and not your normal v8 swap I easily could go that route. But the 4.0 would be great
