Moab: Best way to get a Jeep there from North Carolina

Hell yeah.. its nice to fill up for less that $75!

The drive out is awesome, although i have not driven to Moab, but driven to cali twice now and I had just as much fun getting there as I did wheeling at the hammers.

I get 13.5 towing with my tundra and a single rig and car trailer I get 11.5 when I add the truck camper

Off topic but curious what you get unloaded and easy driving? Had a mileage discussion on half ton pick ups today and was talking about how the Tundras and Titans gets the worst mileage of half tons. I thought they were both a 13 maybe 14mpg truck empty period.

I don't get that in my Tundra... Is yours a crew? Mine is, and I get about 14.5 highway. Last time I pulled the JK down to Gulches I averaged between 9-10. To be safe I was calculating the trip at 7-8, and even still with low gas prices it won't be too bad. Worst part will be all the stops to fill up.

Yep 14 crewmax mine dose awsome I love it that being said my buggy is 2600 pounds and my trailer is very light

is it mostly stock, or anything done to it, to get that kinda of mileage? Would love to get that out of mine. Best I've ever gotten was about 16 on a long trip. I will say this though, mine does have a 2" lift, and dual exhaust, so I'm sure neither of those help, however I wouldn't think there would be that much of a difference in mileage.

With all thats done to my JK, Im guessing it weighs in the neighborhood of 5,500 lbs, and my trailer weighs 2,080, so Ive got quite a load back there when I tow mine.

My coworker has a 2016 TRD Pro tundra with the TRD supercharger on it and he gets 18 mpg average vs 13 when he had it without the super.

Mine is stock trd limited I do have a buddy that has a 3 inch lift and 35s and he gets 8 in town and 15 highway with the big motor it's all about how you drive you hit the gas and that thing will suck down some fuel

Yeah Im typically pretty easy on it. Myabe its just that little bit of lift and the exhaust that arent helping, who knows. Still love the truck.
