I figured I would share our little video from Easter Jeep 2010. We lost a good bit of "film" due to us erasing it on accident, but managed a couple minutes of decent shots with what we had.

73 hour round trip that covered over 4,400 miles. Definitely a trip of a lifetime which I hope to repeat next year :driver:.

Make sure to watch it in HD!

Cool man..a bunch of us went back in '97 and had a blast! We had a stock ZJ and also rented some lifted CJ's. Killer time... Nice video too!

Nice Vid! I would like to make it out that way at lest once. I just dread the long drive. that's about a 3 day trip one way.

Oh man I can't wait for October. There is a bunch of us from here on the board going out for a week. Thanks for sharing the video. Now I gotta buy a video camera damn you...

great vid! and music to boot!

Thanks for the comments guys!

I think we are planning to go again for next year's Easter Jeep Safari. Despite the long drive, it is just too much fun, excitement, and adventure not to play.

It is a great time indeed! I need to talk John into going every year versus every other year. Great video, and for those that have never been out there...it's worth every mile and every dollar.

spent 4th of July week out there this year, amazing experience. We flew in and rented a rubicon for a couple of days. Had a great time even in a stock rig, the traction out there is amazing.

We're doing this trip 2011...can't wait!...Great video...how did you guys do the trek?...way we got it figured we were gonna try and break it up into a 2 1/2 day drive stopping along the way

That's what we did, Stopped in ST Louis night one, Denver night Two and a half day drive in to Moab day Three. In 08 we stopped in Forest City Arkansas night One, Albuquerque Night Two and a half a day in to Moab day Three.
Very similar drives both ways except a little harder pulling through he Rockies going the Northern route.

Our trip looked something like this:

Going out-

Day 1: Charlotte, NC to Tupelo, MS (roughly 10 hours)
Day 2: Tupelo, MS to Amarillo, TX (roughly 16 hours)
Day 3: Amarillo, TX to Moab, UT (roughly 12 hours)

Coming home we took a slighly different route (can't find it right now)-

Day 1: 11 hours
Day 2: 11 hours
Day 3: 11 hours

We pretty much booked it on the way home. Ate in the car, flew in and flew out of gas stations, etc.
