modified class mud truck 4runner

hey everyone I'm starting a new project and figured id keep a build thread of it so here goes nothing. It staring as a 87 ifs 4runner it's gonna be a major mutt. Toyota, Chevy engine and trans and super duty ford axles. Plans are to skin it as much as possible and make new frame rails to mount the engine and 4 link. This will be strictly a hill and hole
Mud race rig. Engine is a 650hp sbc 421 stroker. With a th400 241 combo and trans brake. I'll start with some pics first

Also it will be getting a cage with some
Addictions. I've started gutting it already and have mocked up the 10.5 sterling also. Just to get an Idea on what it's gonna look like. Gonna be wide. It's still got the stock 05 wheels and it's almost outa the body. I like it though. Crappy pics but I'm gonna take some good ones in the next few days

i like it but your not going to run it anywhere cause it has a chevy motor in a toy i have a jeep with a chevy and not legal in any class but unlimited and my little motor cant keep up with the likes of scooby so good luck mine will just hit the play parks

Around here I have two tracks that I'm gonna run all the time. I will be running modified class. And yea I'm outgunned a little by some of the other guys who show up. But for the most part my weight and little motor should be able to hang. I definitely won't wanna run unlimited haha. I'll just stay home and keep my money

Yep. Jumping run will be my home track. Never been to fasttrax. I'll have to look it up. Motor is back from the machine shop and I'm going to start building this week. I'll have more pics of the motor. Time for some go fast goodies.

Still waiting on main bearings and rings to be delivered. But couldn't help myself. Had to see what it was gonna look like.

wow thats alot of intake you got alot of cam and piston to go with it cant wait to see it done
