Mog Axles?

We get ours from Tardon on pirate. They come rebuilt with disks and pinion conversions.

It depends on how you order them. We just got a pair of fronts, rebuilt with disk brake conversions(4 corners) and pinion conversions for about $6300 including freight.

Wow those add up quick! I wonder what it would cost with just the rebiult axles.

Is everyone running fronts in the rear useing standard fronts? No reverse gears? Are they holding up okay?

Thanks

Our current 4 seat chassis we are building is running front and rear steering 404s

We will see how it holds up.

Last time I was in Texas I went by www.teximog.net. The website says $1750 a set, but that's with drums.

I've known a guy that has had F&R 404s on his buggy for years behind the stock Mog tranny and a small block Chevy. He wheels it hard, and his biggest problem is keeping it up right not breaking parts.

Don't know. He probably spent a bit of cash on getting it done. He has had that buggy ('Rock Mog') for quite a while; before it was popular to put Mog axles under anything. Post the question in the Mercedes section of PBB (first search to see if its been answered). He stops by every now and then so he might see it.

Otherwise, I can get up with him when I get a chance.
