I have a hall affect throttle the outputs 1v to 4.5 V. The problem I am experiencing is that the motor controller is looking for 0 V to 5 V.

So when turned on the controller sees 1v and slowly spins the wheels.

The motor controller is a dimension engineering syren50.

I’m thinking I’ll just have to get a new throttle pedal that outputs 0 to 5.

But, if there is a way to make it work. I’m all ears.

Is the motor controller able to do a position adapt on the throttle pedal?

It would need to be differentially summed with a 1V voltage reference to subtract the 1V offset, and then amplified.

Yes, but not for this signal. I think for R/C signal it can.
