If you've been there please let the NPS know how you feel about more restrictions to accessing this remote and breathtaking wilderness. If you have never been you might want to get there soon while you can still enjoy it.

I've been reading some of the comments and it seems most of the peeps who are pro-regulation have never actually seen the place or set foot on it :flipoff:

Speak your mind on no more regulation!

I go out there quite a bit and I know others here do as well. Even if you don't go or hardly go, your voice is just as loud as the regulars that frequent the islands. Please help to support our cause!


I've seen comments by people which suggest they have never been to the islands not know anything about it and seem to think eliminating OHV use is the answer. For anyone that knows Cape Lookout, access can be a little difficult and damn near impossible without an OHV. ;)

We need less regulation! There are already rules and routes for OHV travel and the Rangers do a good job (almost too good!) of blocking traffic due to nesting birds, turtles, etc and limit travel as it is. We don't need more!
