So I am driving my 96 ram today and I hit a bump and I see a light flash in the information center but I can't read it before it goes off. I go around a sharp curve and I see the yellow light flash again out of my peripheral vision but the lever to move the height of the steering wheel blocks my ability to read it before it goes off again. Then I hit the windshield washer later on and the light comes back on and stay on... It says "Low Wash"... Seriously... There is an idiot light for the freaking washer fluid!

but now you know....., sucks finding out midway thru a slushy salt laden road and you get mud splashed on you that all your wipers can do now is smear the shit around till it dries to a crusty streak across your field of vision.

just think, someone paid $500 for that option in 1995'/96 ! they saved your ass ! :flipoff2:

I don't know if that's worse, or the TPMS 'low tire pressure' crap that's on every newer car. Working in a garage, I bet we get 10 cars a day just checking tire pressure because the light came on in the morning, when pressures were down, and then went out as they drove it. You'd think the end of the world is coming.

Fixed that problem w/ a piece of black tape...

Mine says it in my data display on my liberty it even has a chime like a seat belt reminder

That's how my my wife's 04 Grand Cherokee was. That thing had options and alarms and notifications for everything.

My xj had the light on. Wouldn't go off even with the tank full. I pulled the cluster and pulled the bulb out. And the stupid hatch open light.

I actually like this one because every other day my fiance says "tire looks low". I go check the light and it isn't, saves me a tremendous amount of time with not having to pull out the compressor!

Worst of all is the seatbelt warning light... Yes car, I'm quite aware I'm not wearing my seatbelt backing out my driveway and no, I don't want to hear you dinging at me!

In 06, Company I was with had bought 3 new Sterling Dump Trucks. After about 2 weeks, I came in to work, cranked the truck, & the check engine light came on. Mechanic had to call the Dealer, who told him how to get a code. It was still a "count the flash" computer. That's the First time we ever heard of a "low water sensor"! Truck was parked on a slight incline, & was perhaps a Quart low! BTW, if you try to drive with the check engine light on, the engine/computer, goes into Failsafe Mode. There is No override.

pretty standard of newer diesels, the overflow tank is also the fill for and highest point of the cooling system, GM had a hell of a time with the sensors on the C-45/5500 trucks, the sensor would fault, and shut the truck down, Ambulance companies are not too hip on that when carrying rear seat passengers......

Our fire engine at work has a low coolant sensor, but if you fill up the reservoir to the sight glass it pukes it out when it gets warm.

8.3 Cummins. Which I'm not sure if it is a Cummins problem or a Pierce problem. I'm leaning towards the latter......
