MOTD (Meme of the Day)

So, you're saying it's not a scarcity of water. It's a behavioral problem where a whole bunch of dumbasses move to areas without sufficient available water sources (or use up all the water to grow grapes in the Napa Valley)?
Wasn’t the center of California one huge lake until us brilliant minded humans came along?

It’s like sending rice and beans to African deserts. It encourages locals to have kids, then the particular charity dissolves and they’re stuck in the dessert.

Like Mr beast making 100 wells in Africa that the locals fail to maintain so he has to send people to regain function

And there will be no one there to help you after 8pm.

I’ll forever hold a grudge with American Airlines, British Airways, and Austrian Airlines for f’ing me over and turning a direct flight to Germany into a layover in London, which resulted in an impossibly short connection, missed flight, a redirect, another missed connection, and an overnight stay in Vienna. What should have been a single flight 14hr journey strung itself out over 3 flights, a hotel, and 2 days and never got a damn bit of care or recompense from the airlines. Actually Austrian did pay for the hotel, so there was that.

Sounds like a good damn time and an opportunity to see Vienna if you asked me.

I wish. Flew out of Charlotte at like 9pm Saturday evening, by the time I got to Vienna it was after 8pm Sunday evening and I had zero sleep.
Reminds me of when I got stuck I. The terminal at Birmingham England overnight due to weather delays. I played one of those quarter drop type games with 15 pounds for over 5 hours. Flying is awesome!

Missed flight in Seoul meant 14 hour overnight layover in an airport that closes at night.

12 hours sitting on the floor in Heathrow airport at 14y/o running out of Walkman batteries with another 10 hours sitting flight ahead.

12y/o with 16y/o brother traveling Florida to Holland canceled flight overnight in Atlanta, put up in hotel. Both of us ordering steak and lobster and ice cream room service dinner, THANKS Delta! 😁

Too many times like that, but those were the three worst.
