Me also. But when the cat5 cable running from my modem to router was giving issues, I was able to grab a backup from the box.

Mine are in two old grocery bags in a cabinet under the cable box. I occasionally need something from it. I’ll never throw them out. One day my kids will discover them and wonder what ancient devices they went to.

Shortly before I retired (wasn't really planning to that soon...), I ordered a bunch of stuff to restock....probably got 1200 3' RJ45 patch cables, 800 or so 5', at least 500 at 10'.
