this is one of the things I miss about how parenting and neighborhoods used to work.
My friends and I all treated each others parents like our own and vice versa. I knew if I acted up at Ryan's house I could expect a scolding from his mom that could be worse than my own.
Nowadays everyone is all sensitive about boundaries instead of respecting the value of the village

My girls had a friend over one time who asked my wife to make her something else for dinner because she didn't like whatever was cooked.

That friend doesn't come to our house anymore.

Fact as far as the loan part. Visited a manufacturer while over in Italy. The money value was astronomical. Like stupid pasta rocket fast car and the mansions.
