No shit, last weekend, when I was in James Island, there's a golf course right beside the road. I told my buddy that liked looked dangerous. We were sitting at the stop light and a damn golf ball bounced in the road right in front of us! He said he'd never had that happen there.
 
Funny story. When Bill Clinton was president, he made a trip to Charlotte. Instead of leaving that afternoon he decided last minute he wanted to play a round of golf. I was scheduled to work that day but was not coming in till 7pm. I got called in early to go to the Piper Glen golf course and help with security. I got assigned the 18th hole when I arrived. Well as I and Secret Service were standing there ole Bill shanked his shot and nearly hit me with his golf ball.

They’ve got a couple of well placed nets that help. I’m sure I probably put at least one across all four lanes before.
