Here I am just triggered that they re-generationed mustangs.

For years it was
1st gen 64-66
2nd gen 67-70
3rd gen 71-73
4th Gen was the 2 debacle
5th gen was Fox bodies

Now someone decided the 65-73 is all 1st gen.
Which means these two cars are the same generation despite sharing zero frame/structure/engine/transmission or rear end interchangability.

The 73 is 13 inches longer, 6 inches wider, and weighs over 1,000 lbs more...yet they are the same "gen"

Yeah it doesn't make sense to me either, like calling the 19+ rams 5th gens when relatively so little changed from the 18- trucks. And that's not even bringing up the argument about it being (or not being) a double digit generation of Dodge trucks.

Don’t get me started on square body Chevy vs obs (which was way more square) and now nbs, nnbs, nnnbs
